Shipping covers the cost charged by a shipping carrier or other costs directly related to shipping. Shipping cost is the most common reason for potential customers to abandon their shopping choices so showing accurate information in your ads can help to increase the performance of your ads.
Shipping is required for the following countries: Australia, Czechia, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
To set up the shipping cost you need to configure a shipping service in your Google Merchant Center.
- Sign in to the Merchant Center
- Click "Delivery" on the page menu
- Click the plus button to create the shipping service.
First you need to name your service. Choose a service area where your products are purchased and delivered. It should match the country of the feed (target country) and not where the order is shipped from or where your business is based.
Fill in the delivery time (estimated transit time). In the US and Australia you may include additional transit time destinations through delivery zones.
If you require a minimum order value, enter that amount.
For the US only you can set a holiday shipping cutoff if you require the order to be delivered on that day so the customer can receive them before holidays.
Create a shipping rate for products having different weights or dimensions and select a different shipping option, such as flat rate, for each row.
