Congrats! If you’re reading this article you’re ready to start boosting your online presence. Setting up a new AdWords account will allow you to reach customers at the precise moment they’re looking for your products and services. It’ll take you just a few minutes.
Please follow along as we explain you how to create your AdWords account.
1) Fill in the required information in AdWords
Follow this link and simply add your email, country where you’re operating from, time zone and currency.
If you own an online store, please ensure that the selected currency matches the default currency of your shopping platform (i.e. Shopify, Prestashop). Otherwise you’ll face a currency mismatch issue.
2) Sign up with your email address
If you have a Google Account, you’ll sign in before moving on to the next steps. If you have a different account (i.e. Outlook, Yahoo), you’ll be able to create a Google Account with that address and then log into AdWords with it. After this step, you’ll face a disclaimer with the Terms & Conditions of Google AdWords. Please make sure you’ve read them carefully before moving forward.
3) Include your billing information
You’re nearly done by now. Just add your billing information in your AdWords account and your AdWords configuration will be finished. Depending on the AdWords version you’re using (either AdWords or AdWords Beta), you’ll access the “Billing & payments” section in different ways.
In AdWords Beta, select the tool icon at the top of the page on the right side as we’re showing in the screenshot below. In AdWords, you’ll find the “Billing & payments” section under the settings wheel at the top of the page on the right side as we show.
Choose “Billing & payments” from the top of the settings. Once there, you’ll start with the configuration that includes your country, billing address and payment details. Depending on the country, you’ll see different options for payment methods and billing options. You can read more about them here.
After entering all required information (country, tax information and billing information), you’ll have to read Terms & Conditions of the payments in Google AdWords. When you’ve accepted them and submitted your account to Google, your AdWords setup will be completed. Now you’re ready to come back to Cobiro and let its system create automatic advertising strategies for you.
