There are several possible reasons why your daily budget might get exhausted faster than expected. Here are a few aspects that can use up your campaign's daily budget early in the day.
Budget too low
Your budget is set too low for the keywords that you are bidding on. If you have set your budget so low that the cost for few clicks already exceeds your campaign budget, your budget might get depleted very quickly and your ads will not be able to show. When this happens, your campaign status will show “Limited by budget”. You'll also see a red “Balance is exhausted” notification banner in Google Ads. Target location too broad
If your targeted location is very broad, it might happen that there are too many people searching for your keywords. In this case, we suggest narrowing down your target area so your budget doesn't get diluted by an audience that is too large. Max. CPC too high
The maximum cost-per-click bid (or max. CPC) that you determine during the onboarding process is the highest amount that you're willing to pay for a click on your ad. If someone clicks your ad, that click won't cost you more than the max. CPC that you set. Perhaps you have set a max. CPC that is too high relative to your daily budget. Another possible reason for a budget that runs out too quickly is traffic coming from irrelevant keywords. Cobiro does its best to make sure that only the most promising keywords are used for optimizing your campaigns. Nevertheless, sometimes it can be helpful to manually add negative keywords to your campaign to avoid undesired traffic. However, you must be careful when you block specific keywords (especially when using broad match) that are not eligible to enter the auction and therefore don’t trigger ads.
